Holy cow, single digits!

How is it that there are only nine days left to my wedding? I am so excited and can't believe it's almost here.

The majority of the planning is done, now it's time to start packing. Packing for the nice long wedding weekend in Maryland, and then packing for my mysterious 12 day honeymoon that I'm still clueless about.

Yesterday I had to give Sean my engagement ring. He dropped it off at the jeweler to get re-dipped and cleaned so that it will be perfect for the wedding day. My hand feels so naked without it, and it may sound silly, but I miss looking at it. I love to look at my ring and think about Sean. Pretty soon I'll have two rings I get to wear, so I'm trying to be patient.

Only four days left of work. When we decided to have our wedding the weekend after a holiday weekend I didn't realize how nice it'll be. This upcoming weekend we'll have extra time to tie up loose ends around the house, start packing, and finish any last minute wedding projects.

Then on Monday, Kerry and Kevin arrive. I can't tell you how excited I am to see them. It's been way to long. We haven't seen each other since their wedding back in September of 2007! I'm really excited that we get a few days just us, so that we can catch up in person and so we can show them Williamsburg. Plus, once they are here, even though we'll have to go to work two more days, it'll feel like the wedding is here.

I'm glad to say that my stress is gone, and now I'm just so giddy and excited to see my sisters, my parents, and all of my family that I haven't seen in forever.

It's coming soon everyone, I hope you're ready!

I'm going to have the best husband....in 15 days!

As the days start ticking down to our wedding, I am realizing how much I still have to do. Crossing items off my list is the best, and although I was able to cross quite a bit off this week, the list is not empty.

Last night in particular as I searched for songs online, prior to our 8 pm phone meeting with our DJ, I was an "absolute joy" to be around...basically a stressed to the max bride-to-be.

Sean and I were going to go running before our meeting, but there just wasn't time. Exercise is definitly a stress reliever for me, so it really stinks when I don't have time. Not enough time seems to be the theme of this past month. We're both ready to be married and start our honeymoon, so that we can just relax!

Sean could tell I was beyond stressed, so he told me to go change, I was still in my dress work clothes. I came downstairs and he had poured me a large glass of wine, and offered to give me a back massage while I looked for songs. It was very much appreciated, and even though I may not have shown appreciation at first, the wine hadn't hit yet, I do appreciate what he did and I can't wait for him to be my husband.

I love you Sean!

Bridal Shower by Mail Week #8

After a crappy day for both Sean and I we came home to find our Bridal Shower by Mail from Maria.

She did a Picnic in the Park theme! Now that the weather is nice I can't wait to use this. I'll be sure to take photos when we go on our picnic and post them in a future blog.

Bridal Shower by Mail Week #7

We came home after a long day of watching the Michelob Ultra, LPGA golf tournament, to find Stacy's Bridal Shower by Mail Gift and also my birthday present. We knew it was coming since Stacy had asked earlier this week if we had received it yet.

Stacy did a going green theme. She is definitely my Vermont sister, not that Amie isn't green too, but Stacy is always trying to help me as much as I can.

I already planted the bulb and the Christmas Cactus, so I hope they grow and live a long life.

Thanks Stacers.

Bridal Shower Gift to Come

Stacy didn't want everyone to think she slacked. Apparently her gift was sent earlier this week and she even paid extra for 2 days at the USPS, but we still haven't received it. Stacy wanted everyone to know not to pay the extra for 2 days because it doesn't work.

Hopefully we'll have a gift tomorrow.

Love you Stacers, and Saturday is still part of this week so no worries.

Bridal Shower by Mail Week #6

I can't believe we are on week 6 of the bridal shower by mail. The weeks are flying by. With just about 6 weeks until the wedding it's nice to come home from work to gifts from friends and family.

This week the gift was from Amie and Jay! They did a Date Night theme with both naughty and nice items. Since this is a public blog only the nice items are shown.

Enjoy!

Nice gift items shown, a Wii Smarty Pants game, tea, chocolate, Trader Joes gift card, Bath and Body works Aromatherapy gift package!
